Indonesia is located in the region known as the "Ring of Fire".  The Ring of Fire is known for its' volcanic and seismic activity, having 75% of the world's active volcanoes within its' belt.  Within only the past few years, we have responded to multiple earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, a liquefaction event, flooding and landslide.

Our 2nd Responders teams are comprised of both local staff and volunteers willing to drop everything in a moment's notice to respond.  We work with and respond in conjunction with local authorities.  We have delivered thousands of liters of potable water and trained hundreds of communities how to use donated water filters.  We have delivered donated food, provided first-aid services, medicine, tents, clothing and trauma healing activities.  It is through our response that we have been able to cultivate long term relationships within affected communities.
